Ian |
| classically
trained at Birmingham Conservatoire, Ian won the
Conservatoire’s Trumpet
Prize and during a years postgraduate study in performance, gained
with distinction, he was awarded second place in the Vincent Bach
International Trumpet Competition. Since leaving the Conservatoire,
Ian has been working as a professional trumpet player, performing
with many of the regions leading orchestras and frequently plays
as a theatre musician in many shows throughout the country and
London’s West End. On the lighter side, Ian has played with
a wide variety of big, dance and jazz bands and has recently been
working for Royal Caribbean International, backing such stars as
the Platters, Davey Jones of the Monkeys and Frankie Avalon |
